Command Structure

Our structure is designed to mirror the modern U.S. Army Combat Aviation Brigade, providing a realistic and immersive foundation for our operations. As our ranks grow with new aviators, we will progressively establish additional companies, leveraging the full range of available DCS modules to enhance our capabilities. The inaugural unit of the 17th CAB is C Troop, 7th Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. This heavy reconnaissance troop is currently stationed at Fort Irwin, operating out of a training forward operating base (FOB). They are conducting rigorous validation training and gunnery tables to prepare for a simulated overseas deployment to Iraq.
